Fernwood Designs is a husband and wife design/build team specializing in custom carpentry and fine woodworking. The concept of Fernwood Designs was born through the collaboration of Rich Grenier and Francine D’Antuono when building theirdream home. The couple worked together designing and building an original home utilizing and combining their individual talents.
Richard Grenier is a fifth generation carpenter from Massachusetts. His natural talents were perfected during years of creating fine interior carpentry. His love of exotic woods and architectural details is evident in his work. He also incorporates his signature style in outdoor applications of all kinds including decks, porches, and pergolas. Dream it and he can build it.
Francine D’Antuono is a freelance illustrator and designer. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1979 with a degree in graphic design and fine art. She has enjoyed a steady career in commercial and fine art from the age of 17. Along the way she began offering faux painting, murals, and other decorative interior art. Her additional studies of architecture have been an asset to Fernwood Designs.
Teamed together, Rich and Francine are able to offer complete design packages. Whether it is a simple trim and paint job or extensive custom built-ins and fine furniture Fernwood Designs is capable of making your vision come to life!
